PRECISION SURFACE GRINDERS

HEAVY-DUTY TOOLROOM AND PRODUCTION DoALL offers a complete line of automatic models with superior capabilities for every surface grinding need. They come in three different models and three wheel sizes. The unitized hydraulic system provides fast, smooth table traverse and saddle crossfeed. The superprecision spindle, a fan-cooled base that pre- vents heat distortion, balanced heavy-weight cast con- struction are other productivity boosting features.

STANDARD EQUIPMENT 0 618-7

1 hp (0.75kw) superprecision, cartridge-type motorized spindle; zeroing slip rings; auto- matic hydraulically-actuated lubrication; auto- matic crossfeeds; wheel dressing speeds from Oto 150 ipm (0 to 3.8 m/min); adjustable worklight. Same as 0618-7 except for 5 hp (3.7 kw) superprecision. cartridge-type V-belt spindle drive; motorized wheel elevation.

Model D1030-12 shown equipped with Cool Grinding® attachment which forces coolant through the grinding wheel to the point of con- tact.

Hydraulically-operated lube pump provides automatic lubrication to ta- ble, saddle, and column ways, and to column elevating and crossfeed screws.
