ZEPHYR BAND MACHINES HIGH-SPEED/FRICTION
With a wide choice of tool speed ranges the rugged, heavy-duty Zephyr Band Machines offer maximum pro- duction, efficiency and band sawing economy. Friction sawing is done at tool velocities from 6,000 to 15,000 fpm and particularly applicable to sawing ferrous ma- terial less than 1 in. thick. Most non-ferrous metal saw- ing and band machining of nonmetallic materials is handled at tool velocities from 3,000 to 6,000 fpm. Zephyr machines have the high efficiency and adapt- ability for all of these applications. Practically every type of material is within the machining scope of their. power, speed range and variety of cutting tools.
