DoALL Saw Blades

r

DoALL Knife-edge, tooth-type band tools for corrugated board, plastic foam and other resilient materials.

These blades make clean, fast work of soft, flexible mate- rials from corrugated board to plastic foam and trans- former coils, as well as honeycomb materials- both fer- rous and non-metallic. They also perform excellently on wood and paper. Double bevel V-tooth blades and Honeycomb single-bevel blades are available.

The DoALL Double bevel V-tooth blade. Note that the blade 1s bi· directional, effectively doubling its useful life. Double Bevel V-tooth Blade This blade is made from tempered, fatigue resistant steel. The teeth and backing have a hardness rating of 46-47 Re. The blade may be used with or without cutting fluids, at band velocities from 3000 to 6000 fpm, depend· ing upon the material being cut. Fast and smooth cutting, the double-bevel V-tooth produces excellent results in the recommended materials. Its extra bite ensures a good, clean cut in non-metallic materials and light metals. The blade is designed to double the life of the cutting edge. When the face of the cutting edge dulls in one direction, the band is flipped inside-out to present a new, sharp cutting edge to the materials. It should be used wherever greater penetration is required than can be achieved with either a wavy-€dge or scallop-€dge knife blade. The blade produces a minimum amount of dust and kerl loss. Also available in hard edge, with a cutting edge hardness of 60-62 Re, which can increase blade life up to 50 percent.

The DoALL Honeycomb single bevel tooth form. Note negative rake angle and direction of cut, which provides clean efficient cuts as the blade travels In the opposite-of-normal direction. Honeycomb Tooth Blade Unique tooth design produces an excellent burr-free finish because the cutting edge is the back edge of the tooth. The teeth feature a negative- angle rake, and the blade runs in the opposite of the conventional direc- tion. The teeth are uniformly set and file-beveled to produce a fast-cutting, fine finish. The band material is fatigue-resistant, spring-tempered carbon alloy steel having a uniform hardness of 40-45 Re to provide maximum strength and flexibility. Honeycomb blade is run at band velocities of 5000 to 9000 fpm, depend- ing upon the type and thickness of the material being cul. It can be used wet or dry, and will cut ferrous honeycomb materials and all types of non- ferrous honeycomb materials like aluminum and paper-in either the com- pressed or expanded form. It will also cut wood and plastics, and can be used for the trimming of light metal castings. Honeycomb Single Bevel Tooth Blade -- Catalog Width Gage Teeth In. mm In. mm Per In.
