GRANITE COLUMN CONSTRUCTION Mounted and supported by
OPTICAL SCALES All E68 series presetters are equipped, on both the X and Z axes, with patented GS371 optical scales which include a natural granite ruler and graduated glass scale. This is the first and only optical scale in the world that uses natural granite, ensuring precision and repeatability never seen before. (Currently available on E68 Series only)

AXIS CLAMPING An ergonomic pneumatic handle allows for movement and locking of both axis simultaneously with one hand, freeing up the other hand to position the toolholder.
VISION SYSTEM Elbo Controlli Nikken’s custom vision system makes measuring and inspection accurate and easy to visualize. Built with a dual lit system, variable LED arrangement and a CMOS sensor; brightness for optimal visualization is achieved while minimizing heat generation that can distort measuring accuracy.
