Bearings Guaranteed concentricity of 0.03 at 100mm and the highest rotation speeds due to high- precision angular ball bearings of tolerance class P4. Optimized design for the highest rigidity by maximizing bearing distance and minimizing distance to the tool cutting edge.
Gears Highest torque and smooth running due to cyclo palloid toothed bevel gears. Low backlash gear adjustments due to individual manual setting.
Sealing Dry running is possible for almost all tools due to the innovative sealing system up to 70bar. Reduced heat generation is due to a friction optimized PTFE shaft sealing. Dirt labyrinth protects from dust and chips.

SK VS. ER GRIPPING FORCE
SK Collets can be used for all applications, from milling to reaming. Standard collets can be used in coolant thru applications (with coolant back-up screws).
Increased Gripping Power The smaller the taper angle is, the better concentricity is obtained. Our steep 8° collet seats deeper in the body of the holder, providing twice more clamping force and twice more precision than traditional 16° ER collets.
